For over half a century, Commonwheel has been the premier art festival in the Pikes Peak Region. This free family-friendly event celebrates creativity and supports artists from the community, the state, and beyond.
Free Summer Concert Series
It’s getting warmer in Manitou Springs, which means free live all summer long! Check out the Summer Concert Series every Monday starting at 7:00 p.m. and every Friday starting at 6:00 p.m. at Soda Springs Park.
Emma Crawford Coffin Races
October is special for Manitou Springs. Skeletons fill shop windows and coffins race through our downtown. Totally normal, right? Don’t miss the one-of-a-kind coffin races and festival.
The Great Fruitcake Toss
Let your fruitcakes fly! Join us for old fashioned games of tossing fruitcakes, costume competition, libations, and even a fruitcake bake-off! Test your strength, talent, balance, and taste!
Carnivale Weekends
This year, Carnivale weekend will be a bit different from how it would normally run. Join us Friday night for CarniBall , a masquerade Mardi Gras ball. Then meet us in the park Saturday for the Mumbo Jumbo Gumbo Cook-off and stick around for the Carnivale Parade all through town, with the motto “Keep Manitou Weird”.
Manitou Springs Colorado Wine Festival
Wine season in Colorado starts right here in Manitou Springs every June. Sample wines from nearly 30 Colorado wineries, browse eclectic vendors, and enjoy live music in Manitou’s favorite downtown park.
Ice Cream Social and Pie Baking Contest
This event began as a way for neighbors to meet one another and blossomed into a friendly competition for pie-baking bragging rights made all the better with ice cream and a big band.

ManiPalooza & Silent Disco!
