Whether you arrive by car, bus, or bike, it’s easy to get to Manitou Springs. See below for directions for your chosen mode of transportation. However you get to town, don’t forget to stop by the Visitors Center at 354 Manitou Ave and we’ll point you in the right direction – Just look for the big, green question mark!

Shuttle info: Manitou’s big on the incline, but short on parking…don’t worry, there’s a shuttle!

Arriving by car

A small mountain town in the middle of somewhere and smack-dab in the middle of the Pikes Peak Region, Manitou Springs is an easy days drive from Kansas, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. Visiting Denver? Manitou Springs is a great day trip to explore mineral springs and more!

  • Take I-25 South
  • Exit 141 to Hwy 24 West/Manitou Springs
  • Travel 4 miles to the first Manitou Avenue exit
  • Take I-25 North
  • Exit 141 to Hwy 24 West/Manitou Springs
  • Travel 4 miles to the first Manitou Avenue exit
  • Take I-70 West to exit 359 (Limon)
  • Take Highway 24 West,to Colorado Springs
  • Merge I-25 North to Denver/Manitou Springs
  • Exit 141 to Hwy 24 West/Manitou Springs
  • Travel 4 miles to the first Manitou Avenue exit
  • Take I-70 East to exit 203, CO-9 South, Frisco
  • Follow CO-9 South /Hwy 24 East toward Colorado Springs
  • Take the exit for Manitou Ave (US-24 Business)

Alternate Transportation

Getting to Manitou via public transportation is as easy as hopping on the bus from Downtown Colorado Springs…or if you have a two-wheeler, follow the Midland Trail west until you hit the Manitou Creek Walk Trail.

Mountain Metro Transit Rt. 3 travels between Memorial Park in Manitou Springs and the Downtown Colorado Springs Terminal via Old Colorado City. In Manitou, this route connects to the year-round Rt. 33 Incline Shuttle. For more information about MMT, visit mmtransit.com.

By Bicycle

The Manitou Springs Creek Walk trail connects to the Midland Trail in Colorado Springs, offering a fun way to get outdoors and explore our town. Additionally, El Paso Blvd and Manitou Ave connect to bike routes in Colorado Springs.
