The Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site is an educational, non-profit living history farm and museum that depicts life in the Pikes Peak region in four time periods: American Indian area in 1775; 1860’s Galloway Homestead; 1880’s Chambers Home and Ranch; 1907 Edwardian Country Estate.
The Space Foundation Discovery Center is the region’s first and only dedicated space, science and technology center. It is an interactive, education-focused destination that advances science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) in the exciting context of space exploration, development, and utilization.
A popular moderately-difficult 5.78 mile out and back hiking-only trail located in North Cheyenne Cañon. The trail follows a mountain stream and is one of the few cool hikes in the summer, even at mid-day. Best to hike Mar. through Nov., or when the snowpack is low. Dogs on leash are okay.
