Pikes Peak — America’s Mountain forms a stunning backdrop for Colorado Springs and the Garden of the Gods. There are few places in the world that are so grand in scale and yet are also accessible to experience first hand, offering fun for all ages. The safe, scenic highway provides the opportunity to enjoy Pikes Peak at your leisure. Along the way, you’ll discover the North Slope Recreation Area, Crystal Reservoir Gift Shop, Historic Glen Cove Inn, and the Summit House. There are three lakes for fishing (May-October), picnic areas, hiking trails, and breathtaking views.

The grandeur of the mountain often piques the curiosity of visitors, and the “Meet the Ranger” program is the perfect place to find the answers. The program gives guests the opportunity to learn about Pikes Peak’s history, geology, nature, wildlife, and events on the mountain.
