labor day weekend
"Fest" like an artist
- When: Sept. 2nd, 3rd and 4th 10am-5pm
- Where: Memorial Park
- Cost: Free
Fest: noun – to make the most of every joy-filled festival moment
If you haven’t been to the last 48 Commonwheel Art Festivals—where have you been? (And if you have—we knew you had good taste.) Celebrate the works of potters, jewelers, painters, sculptors, photographers, glass artists, and more from around the Pikes Peak Region!
Expect to be inspired
While this juried art festival may technically have “winners and losers,” we like to think anyone who enjoys a weekend of diverse art, talented musicians and mouth-watering good food is #winning. Meet the artists behind the art and get inspired to explore your own creative expression!

Creativity at all ages
Stop by the Kids Zone, where they can create their own art projects, play games, learn about nature, and more. Kids (and kids at heart) can get their faces painted, play with giant soap bubbles and take home balloon animals. Discover the Kid Zone at the east end of Memorial Park.
Know before you go
"Fest" responsibly
Free shuttle
You’ll find parking at Fields Park and along Manitou Ave. Grab a free shuttle into town!
Pets at the festival
We’re a bunch of dog lovers, but “slobber” isn’t one of the mediums featured at this year’s festival.
Recycle with us
Keep this work of art known as Earth clean. You’ll find trash and recycling bins around the park.
Stay awhile in picture-perfect Manitou
Turn on your out of office message and turn up the R&R this Labor Day weekend with an overnight stay in Manitou Springs.
