Time for a little holiday shopping
Need some holiday gift inspiration? Look no further than your local Colorado small businesses. For every $100 spent locally, $70 stays in our community.
Here are a few ways that you can Shop Local this holiday season:
- Start the holidays off right with us on Thanksgiving weekend. Check out the sweet deals waiting for you this weekend!
- Buy a gift card to your favorite Manitou Springs restaurant or bar.
- Pick up a hand painted work of art from one our many local artists.
- Take a walk through town to see the lights, and browse the wares at our locally owned shops.
- Stop by the Chamber of Commerce to get Manitou Money, useable at 60+ of the businesses in Manitou Springs.
Listen out for our live holiday music
While you’re in town, listen out for some live holiday music. Holiday Brass will be performing on 11/27, 12/4, 12/11, 12/18, & 12/24 from noon-2pm accompanied by Dance Wonderland for a magical time (Dance Wonderland not performing 11/27 or 12/24). Take a second to soak in the holiday cheer by listening to music and shopping small here in Manitou Springs.
Come meet the big guy!
Along with the holiday music, you’ll have a chance to meet Santa himself here in Manitou Springs on a few special days!
Join us on Friday 11/25 for your first chance to meet Santa, while we flip on the holiday lights at the town clock. Santa will be there from 4-6pm, with the lights coming on at 6pm.
Can’t make it out on the 26th? Well Santa will be taking some time out of his busy schedule to come back to Manitou Springs:
- 12/10 – Breakfast with Santa @8-10am & Christmas Parade @10am
- 12/17 – Storytime with Santa @ Manitou Springs Library @ 1-3pm
- 12/24 – Santa Arrives at the Town Clock @ 6pm

Send Santa your wish list
We’ve gotten together with our friends over at The North Pole, to help us make sure all of your letters make it to the Big Guy before Christmas.
Drop off your letters to Santa by Sunday, December 18th in our Christmas house drop box by the town clock. His team of elves will pick them up and get them to The North Pole for you.
While you’re dropping off your letter, be sure to take a few minutes to check out all of the awesome window decorations that our local businesses have set up! Voting opens soon, stay tuned for updates!
P.S. – Parents, make sure you include your address on the letter, so Santa can send a letter back. It’s a busy time of year for him, so having your address written down will speed up the process for him.
