Length of Trail: 3.70 Miles out and back

Elevation Gain: 956 Ft. Gain

Difficulty: Moderate

This heavily-trafficked, moderate trail climbs to the summit of Mt. Muscoco. It shares the same trailhead as Mt. Cutler but offers a bit more challenge. You might bring a map for this one; you have to make the right choice at four different intersections to find your way to the summit.

Dogs on a leash are welcome on this trail.

Trailhead Directions: From Manitou Springs, head east on US 24 for 2.4 miles and turn right onto 21st St. Continue for 1.4 miles as the street becomes Cresta Rd. Keep going another 1.6 miles. Turn right onto Cheyenne Blvd and after 1 mile take a right at the fork onto N Cheyenne Cañon Rd. Drive west for 1.5 miles to a parking lot at the trailhead on the left. The trailhead is shared with Mt. Cutler.
