At the Edge of the Woods

Liz McCombs’ sculptures bring together a collection of hybrid forms: creatures caught between the human and the animal, the civilized and the wild. Figures invite viewers to confront the blurred line between nature and identity, instinct and intellect, suggesting a world where transformation is constant and boundaries are fluid. The show becomes a quiet invocation, asking what we leave behind — and what we might become — when we step into the woods.

The opening reception, 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 6, will include live music.
