Ute Indian Trail

Use of Trail: Hiking / Bicycles / Horses

Length of Trail: 7.54 Miles out and back

Elevation Gain: 1,997 Ft. Gain

Difficulty: Moderate

This moderate 7.54 trail is part of the Ring the Peak (RTP) trail system and follows the path of an original Native American Indian trail. Connections to the rest of the RTP trail are planned. While longer, this is a great and less-frequented alternative to the Incline. Not to mention, it’s much easier on the knees!

Trailhead Directions: This trailhead begins to the right of the Incline trailhead. As such, paid parking is limited. We recommend parking in our free downtown lot at 10 Old Man’s Trail and taking the free Rt. 33 shuttle to the trailhead.
