Hometown Hero events recognize individuals or groups who have made important contributions to a community, shown exceptional bravery, or gone above and beyond to positively impact the lives of others. Honorees don’t need to be Modern Woodmen members. Many honorees aren’t in the public eye and quietly make a difference without asking for recognition. There is a small party held in honor of the Hero, a plaque certification, a Hometown Hero Impact pin, and $100 donated to the non-profit organization of their choice.  Submit your nomination of a Hometown Hero here!
