Pikes Peak Makerspace
A Makerspace is a community-operated workspace where engineers, artists and entrepreneurs can share tools, ideas and expertise, and meet, socialize and collaborate.
We are a membership composed of builders, tinkers, engineers, artists, entrepreneurs, designers, educators all mashed up and revolutionizing creativity in the Pikes Peak Region. Our goal is to provide a facility with space and equipment for people to create physical items for fun and for education. It also is a place to gather interested people for all manner of classes and instruction.
Members of the MakerSpace give workshops, classes, presentations, and lectures to share learning and knowledge. Co-located with the Manitou Center for the Arts, the space has specialized equipment including 3D-printers and a laser cutter. Members share a wood shop, metal shop and electronics work-area to convert ideas into physical reality.
