Miniature Watercolors with a View3:00-5:00 pm. ($5.00 charge)
Join Park Interpreter and artist, Amanda Casey, in creating your very own miniature watercolor painting. Painting miniatures is a great way to make a quick study of your natural surroundings. Amanda will give a short demonstration of basic watercolor techniques when focusing on painting nature-related subjects. Feel free to bring your own nature photos, or use the majestic red rocks as a reference to paint.
Feel free to bring your own watercolor set, brushes, and paper, or use the materials provided. We will meet in the Bean Sprouts café inside the Visitor and Nature Center. Purchase of a drink or meal encouraged.
