Teen Hike

Join Mike Bideau, our education specialist, for a guided nature walk designed for our teenaged explorers. This walk will be filled with opportunities to experience the park through all our senses. As we walk we will talk about the ecology of the park, the rich history of the people who came before, and how those rocks flipped to look the way they do today! The hike will start at the Visitor Center, head up the Foothills trail, to the Dakota trail into the Central Garden, lastly we will take the Gateway trail back to the Visitor Center.  The hike is about 2 miles and there isn’t much elevation gain.
