Perseverance Day
Join the Space Foundation Discovery Center as we celebrate NASA’s latest mission to Mars! We’ll be hosting Mars-themed activities throughout the day in honor of its newest resident – the Perseverance Rover. You can build a lander of your own, explore Martian terrain with a larger-than-life map of the Red Planet, drive LEGO rovers on a simulated Mars surface, see special Science on a Sphere presentations, and more!
We will also be joined by Geologist Jenn Heiny with the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center who will be talking about the geology of Garden of the Gods and its similarities with Mars (presentations at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm).
All events and activities included with General Admission. Face masks are required for all Guests older than 2. Guests will also be asked to acknowledge they are symptom-free to enter. Advance tickets from www.discoverspace.org are encouraged to limit interactions during check-in upon arrival.
