Electric Safari
Electric Safari at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is the only place in Colorado where you can explore 50 acres of one-of-a-kind light sculptures, twinkling light displays, and larger-than-life illuminated inflatable animals while hand-feeding a giraffe herd on the side of a mountain! For the last three years, Electric Safari was voted 3rd Best Zoo Lights in the U.S. by USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. This year’s event will celebrate 33 years of holiday cheer, and Santa Claus will be listening to wishes December 1-3 and 8-23. Advance timed tickets are required for both members and non-members. Zoo member tickets are free, but must be reserved in advance. Due to the popularity of Electric Safari, some times and nights may sell out in advance. Everyone visiting the Zoo must have their own advance e-ticket, including children age 2 and under. Discounted tickets (senior and military) will be validated at the front gate with the appropriate ID.
