Can’t-Miss Art Event

Commonwheel Artists Co-Op’s annual Labor Day Weekend Art Festival in Manitou Springs is considered to be the premier art festival in the Pikes Peak Region. For more than four decades, a diverse group of potters, jewelers, painters, sculptors, photographers, glass artists, and more have been displaying their artwork selected by the Commonwheel jury. Stop by for a festival the whole family can enjoy.

Fun for All

This event will entertain one and all. Our music coordinator enlists talented local musicians to perform a wide variety of musical styles, adding their own original touches to create a fun, danceable atmosphere all weekend long. For our younger audience, the Kid’s Art Activities Booth invites children to express their creative side, have their faces painted, and even create giant colorful soap bubbles.

Eco-Friendy Festival

Eco-friendly food service and delicious treats make this a great place to meet friends for lunch. Our food vendors, sponsors and community volunteers work with Commonwheel to create a sustainable Waste Wise Festival. At the 2018 Art Festival, 75% of the generated waste was diverted away from the landfill as compost or recyclable materials. Visit us at the festival or send us an email to learn more!
