Fabulous Chefs competing with their secret recipes! Gumbo begins cooking at 8:00 am. Public tasting will follow the judging (10:45 am) 2 tastings for a dollar! There is no entry fee for contestants and winners will receive cash prizes & trophies. Competition is limited to 18 entries & pre-registration is required. Bring your sweetheart and celebrate the history. On February 14th at 2 pm, join us on a mini tour of our resident animals and a special tour on Chinook’s nature trail where you will hear the story of The Lovers. Everyone will receive a rose to place on Chinook’s site, followed by a traditional wolf howl to symbolize “gone but not forgotten”. $20 adults, $10 kids 12 and under. Hot chocolate, spiced apple cider and Valentine desserts will be served. For only $10, have your picture taken with our Ambassador Wolf.
