Manitou Springs is nearby most notable fishing locations in Colorado. Fishing is available in the North Slope Recreation Area 7 miles up on Pikes Peak Highway. Manitou Lake and Rampart Reservoir in Woodland Park are both nice mountain fishing locations. There is a small pond fed by Fountain Creek located on the east side of Manitou Springs in Schryver Park which is stocked every year.For the more serious fisherman, you will find trophy fishing and gold medal fly fishing waters at Spinney Mountain Reservoir near Lake George only 45 minutes from Manitou Springs.
